About Revista

We live in an era where music circulates faster than ever. Every day, thousands of new songs, hundreds of albums, and dozens of artists emerge, all seeking to share their work with the world. At the same time, much of music journalism has come to prioritize speed over depth: news items that merely echo press releases, reviews written without listening to the full album, and articles crafted to feed algorithms rather than to truly understand a work. Behind the music, there is someone who wants to share their art with the world. Revista Soundloop was born as a response to that approach to music journalism. We are an Argentine media outlet dedicated to discovering, understanding, and telling the story of music through an editorial lens rooted in attentive listening, analysis, and respect for the artistic work. We believe that an artistic decision lies behind every song. Behind every album, there are months—or years—of work, exploration, uncertainty, influences, and people who chose to express something through art. That is why we believe a music publication’s primary responsibility is to listen. Listen before writing. Understand before opining. Research before publishing. We do not aim to be the first to break the news. Instead, we strive to ensure that every publication offers context, reflection, and a distinct, well-founded editorial perspective. We believe in independent projects. In albums that spark questions. In interviews that reveal the people behind the music. In reviews that invite listeners to hear things differently. Because discovering and understanding music is also a way of building culture. Listen. Understand. Share. The magazine reaches approximately 10,000 visitors per month worldwide. In 2025 alone, more than 250 artists were featured through interviews, news articles, and/or reviews. Notable artists include Asfixia Social, Love Ghost, Adai Song, TaniA Kyllikki, Giuseppe Cucé, Los 33, Ava Valianti, Varun Das, Shihori, among others.
